Summer Enrichment Program
HOURS OF OPERATION:
The Summer Enrichment Program operation is Monday-Friday 7:15 am-5:30 pm with observance of all major legal holidays.
The Summer Enrichment Program operation for the Summer months: Monday, June 3, 2024 to Friday, August 2, 2024.
PRICES:
Application Process: Each student must be enrolled in the Summer Enrichment program by a parent or legal guardian. Admission to the program will be granted upon a first- come, first-serve basis according to the remittance of enrollment application, registration fee, and the number of slots limited to each age group. (If you request to unenroll your child(ren), to re-enroll for the same summer term you will have to complete the registration process and pay the registration fee.)
Financial policy: The registration fee is $45.00 (Non-refundable or Non-transferable) for all applicants. The weekly tuition and activity fees combined are $155.00 (1 child/ or multiple children). Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payments are due every Monday, on or in advance by 5:30 pm. Any payments made after Monday 5:30 pm will be assessed an additional $5.00 per day/ per child. Payment options are ZELLE, CASHAPP or PAYPAL. Accounts that are five days delinquent will result in termination of services. Tuition is based on a flat fee and will not be prorated for holidays and days not attended, including sick days, and vacation days and program closures due to inclement weather. No refunds will be made for absence of a child.
NOTE: DUE TO LIMITED SPACES, Full Tuition Will Be Required Weekly regardless of Absences.
(THERE ARE NO FREE WEEKS AND NO PARTIAL PAYMENT FEE.)
SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITIES FEES:
Every day the students will attend a field excursion. The trips are in the Orangeburg area on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and out of town (Charleston/Columbia) on every Friday. A calendar of events is available at the program's facility site. Field trips are subject to change based on scheduling and inclement weather. The fees for each trip are included with the weekly tuition price. Some of the Summer Field Trips will include:

Orangeburg County Library; Orangeburg City Playground; Orangeburg Spray Park; Garden City Paint; Summer Movie Express
Field Trips EXAMPLE: Chuck E. Cheese; Columbia's Marionette Theater: Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens; Whirlin Waters Water Park;
EdVenture Children's Museum; The MAX Trampoline Park; Carolina Ice Palace; Columbia Children's Theater; Stars and Strikes; Frankie Fun Park
PICK UP POLICY:
Daily attendance will be taken. If it is necessary for a child to be absent, the parent/ legal guardian should call (803) 997-2309. The facility will close at 5:30 pm. The penalty for late pickup shall be $10.00 per child for the first 15 minutes after closing and $1.00 for every minute thereafter. Students will not be dismissed to anyone that is not listed on the authorization list. If any pick up changes, call the facility or send written notification about changes. Anyone picking up a child that is not the parent or legal guardian will be required to show proper identification.
DISCIPLINE POLICY:
The discipline policy is to facilitate a positive summer climate where each student feels safe and secure. Rules and regulations will be applied to the summer enrichment program and all students enrolled are expected to abide by them. (1st Discipline Action) If a student fails to abide by the rules, the parent will be informed and the student will get a warning. (2nd Discipline Action) A parent conference will be held and the student will be suspended from the program for one week. If the (3rd Discipline Action) occurs, the student will be expelled from the summer enrichment program and he or she may not enroll until the next summer.
FOOD:
Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily. Snacks are provide provided daily. Breakfast will be served between the hours of 7:15-8:15 am. Lunch hours are 11:30 am -12:30 pm. Breakfast and Lunch menus are posted and available upon request. Snack hours are 3:30-4:00 pm.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
Weather conditions sometimes prevent operation of the program. it is not always possible to determine this until the early morning hours. In such cases, tune in to the radio and television stations. In the event of extreme weather and requires immediately closing, the program will announce it on the local radio, television stations, website page, and the Distinctive Learning With Kids In Mind Facebook Page. If weather or other emergencies occur during business hours, forcing the program to close early, parents/ guardians will be contacted by phone to arrange pickup of their child.
